All donations to the NYC Fire Museum help preserve the history of the FDNY and maintain our fire safety education and prevention program which serves over 10,000 New York City children a year. The Friends of the New York City Fire Department Collection, Inc. (aka NYC Fire Museum) is recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a not-for-profit corporation under code section 501(c)(3), and has been classified as a non-profit foundation. All contributions are tax deductible as allowable by law.
